We endeavor to provide girls aged 12-18yrs a safe environment to grow creatively. We want to provide them
one on one mentoring, homework help and someone who will listen and care about the things that are weighing heavily on them.
We have to many children lost to drugs. We want to equip our young ladies with the neccessary skills to say no
to sex and drugs.
We have a hour of power every Saturday morning where a light breakfast will be served 1/2hour rap session will take place
at that time, immediately after that the activity for the day will begin. There will be sewing classes, cooking classes with
the focus on nutrition, skin care and proper make-up application classes as well. Something for everyone. We want
our girls to learn the the future depends on how they carry themselves. We provide positive self-image and self-esteem
building excercises. We will go on college tours and start our young GEMS thinking about future career goals and how
to achieve them. We will touch on building wealth and the importance of credit. This will be a fun and exciting
program for all girls who participate.
